Privacy Policy – Developer Tools Suite

Last updated: October 23, 2026

The Developer Tools Suite is developed by Michael Zischeck, inMood. This Privacy Policy describes how our developer applications handle information.

It covers the following applications:

  • AbbzThor, also referred to as Connect Support
  • Abbzizer
  • AbbzTartar
  • AbbzGuizer

Our Approach to Privacy

Our applications are designed to work directly on your device and connect to external services only when required for a feature you choose to use.

We do not operate a backend that receives your App Store Connect credentials, API keys, app metadata or translation content.

The applications do not contain advertisements or third-party analytics and do not use tracking technologies for advertising. Abbzizer and AbbzTartar offer optional first-party usage statistics as described below.

We do not sell personal information or create advertising profiles.

Information Stored on Your Device

The applications store settings and other information locally when required for their functionality.

AbbzThor may store:

  • App metadata retrieved from App Store Connect.
  • Edited texts, imported texts and translation drafts.
  • Language selections, translation preferences and additional translation instructions.
  • Application settings and local activity logs.
  • Purchase entitlement information provided by Apple.

Activity logs record operation summaries, results and errors. They may contain app names, product identifiers and field information. They are not intended to contain API keys, private keys or complete translation requests.

Abbzizer stores its settings, selected options and optional unsent usage reports locally.

AbbzTartar stores its settings, selected apps and simulators, launch configuration and optional unsent usage reports locally.

AbbzGuizer stores guide positions, colours and application settings locally. AbbzGuizer does not transmit personal information or usage data.

Local information may be included in device backups or retained by operating-system features according to your settings.

Optional Usage Statistics

Abbzizer and AbbzTartar offer optional first-party usage statistics. No usage statistics are transmitted before you explicitly consent. Declining or later disabling usage statistics does not restrict any application features.

When enabled, the applications send only:

  • The name of the reporting application.
  • A random session identifier created for the current application launch.
  • A cumulative count of application starts and relevant button presses during that session.

Abbzizer counts resize actions. AbbzTartar counts launch actions. Failed actions may also be included in the cumulative count.

The reports do not contain:

  • Names or bundle identifiers of target applications.
  • Window titles.
  • Project names.
  • File names or paths.
  • Screenshots or other content.
  • Persistent device identifiers.
  • Account credentials or API keys.

Reports are sent to support.inmood.ch. The random session identifier changes whenever the application is launched and is used to prevent duplicate counts.

Unsent reports may remain locally for up to 30 days so that they can be retried after a temporary connection failure. Disabling usage statistics removes unsent reports. Reports already received remain on the server for operational statistics.

The server necessarily receives your IP address while handling the connection. The usage-statistics table does not store IP addresses, although the hosting provider’s access and security logs may temporarily record connection information according to its normal operation and retention policies.

Credentials and API Keys

App Store Connect API credentials and supported translation-provider API keys used by AbbzThor are stored in the macOS Keychain.

App Store Connect private keys are used locally to authenticate requests to Apple. Translation-provider API keys are used to authenticate requests directly to the selected provider.

These credentials are not sent to inMood.

You can remove saved credentials using the corresponding controls in Settings. Removing the application alone may not remove Keychain entries.

App Store Connect

When you connect your Apple developer account, AbbzThor communicates directly with Apple’s App Store Connect API.

The application retrieves information needed to display and manage your apps, versions, localizations, subscriptions and in-app purchases.

When you choose to upload changes, the selected metadata is sent to Apple. Upload All processes saved drafts for the selected app across the supported areas.

Apple processes these requests under its own terms and Privacy Policy.

Apple Translation

Where available, AbbzThor can use Apple’s on-device translation functionality.

Translation processing takes place on your device. Apple may provide language downloads and related system services. Using Apple Translation does not send your translation texts to inMood or OpenAI.

Optional AI Translation

AI translation is optional and requires the applicable feature unlock and your own supported provider account and API key. AbbzThor currently supports translation through OpenAI.

When you start an AI translation, the application sends the source texts, source and target languages, field information, character limits and your selected translation instructions directly to OpenAI.

Requests to shorten translations may also include the previous translation and its character count. Testing an API connection sends a predefined test question to the provider.

Your App Store Connect private key is not included in translation requests.

AbbzThor disables optional response storage in its OpenAI requests. This does not guarantee that OpenAI retains no data: abuse monitoring, temporary caching and other processing may still apply under the provider’s policies and your account settings.

OpenAI states that API content is not used to train its models unless you explicitly opt in. Further information is available in OpenAI’s API data controls documentation.

External providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their applicable terms, privacy policies and account settings govern that processing.

Only send content you are authorized to share with the selected provider. Avoid including unnecessary personal information, confidential credentials or other sensitive material.

Files, Screenshots and Imported Content

The applications access files only when required for a feature you use or when you explicitly select them.

AbbzThor may read App Store Connect private-key files, CSV files, screenshots, app-preview videos and other App Store assets selected for importing or uploading. Imported metadata and prepared assets remain local until you choose to upload them. Selected metadata and assets are sent to Apple when you start the corresponding upload.

Content selected for AI translation may be sent to the chosen AI provider as described above.

Abbzizer uses macOS Accessibility permission to inspect and resize windows of applications you select. Window information is processed locally and is not sent to inMood.

AbbzTartar may access applications, Xcode tools, simulator data and files you explicitly select to launch or test applications. This information is processed locally and is not included in usage-statistics reports.

AbbzGuizer displays guides on connected screens and stores their positions and appearance locally.

Exported files are saved to the location you select.

Purchases

Optional features may be purchased through Apple’s App Store.

Apple handles payment information and purchase transactions. The applicable application receives only the transaction information needed to verify and restore access to purchased features. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Translation-provider charges are separate from App Store purchases and are handled by the provider.

Support Requests

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your message, screenshots or selected log details.

We use this information to respond to your request and investigate reported problems. Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations.

Please do not send passwords, API keys or private-key files.

Retention and Your Choices

Local drafts, settings, activity logs and other local information remain on your device until removed, replaced or deleted by the application or operating system.

Activity logs can be deleted in AbbzThor. Saved credentials can be removed in Settings.

In Abbzizer and AbbzTartar, you can decline usage statistics on first launch or disable them later in Privacy settings. Disabling them removes unsent reports and prevents new reports from being transmitted.

Removing local data does not remove metadata already uploaded to Apple or information retained by an external provider. Those services provide their own account and data-management controls.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal information we hold, or object to certain processing. You may also contact your competent data-protection authority.

Because most application content is stored locally or sent directly to services you select, we generally cannot access or delete that content on your behalf.

Scope and Changes

This policy covers AbbzThor, Connect Support, Abbzizer, AbbzTartar and AbbzGuizer.

Visiting our support website may involve separate processing by the website, its hosting provider and its security services.

We will update this policy when changes to the Developer Tools Suite affect how information is handled. The updated version will be published on this page.
